Simple Life Saving Medicine, A Kind Doctor and You

Imagine, being sick and being able to go to a local hospital ER that is clean with wonderful doctors where you can be admitted, see a doctor, get an x-ray, be diagnosed and sent home with life saving medicine all within an hour and a half!  Pretty amazing!

It’s not hard for us here in America to imagine this.  In fact this was my story once again a few days ago.  I came down with a horrible case of bronchitis and being severely asthmatic also was unable to breath well enough to even barely walk or speak.  I called my husband at work and he came and picked me up, brought me to the local hospital and within an hour and a half I was on my way home with life saving medicine to get my lungs working again!

Now…imagine being this sick and walking miles to a hospital with out all the modern medicine we have here in America…only to be turned away because you are the unwanted of society and have no money to pay.  Your body gets weaker and weaker until it can no longer survive.  Just some simple medicine …. If you could get it … would have saved your life.

We are so grateful that God has led us to a kind doctor in the slum of Nyendo where our street kids live who treats our street kids with simple life saving medicine anytime they need it.  All they have to do is go to this kind doctor’s medical clinic and he treats them with such love and dignity and wonderful medical care.  He has treated them many times and saved their lives from diseases that are easily treated such as diarrhea, typhoid and malaria.

We are so thankful for YOU, our supporters!  Without you we would not be able to pay to get the medical care that this kind doctor gives.  Medicine costs money and because of YOU our kids are able to get the medicine they need when they need it!  Thank you!

Would you pray with us that all the needs of Little Hands would be met for February?  We are still in need of support for all the needs to be met in February.  If you would like to help all the information to do that is on our ‘donate’ page on our website.

Thank you, Jesus, for caring for our children through these amazing people…Amen.
